"A great place to eat when you found yourself in Venice. We stopped here randomly and we really do not regret this choice. We ate pasta and pizza, of course, and they were delicious, giving us the amazing experience of italian taste. We enjoyed it this much that we came the next day to have the breakfast here which was also great. We couldn’t resist, so we came for lunch too. Their dishes are that good. The people here are amazing, respectful, and helpful. They make sure that you feel good and have an unforgettable experience (which we really did have)."
"definitely try the mixed cod, it was cooked till it feels like 3 different fishes. Pesto pasta was the best Ive i’ve eaten, full with flavour. Definitely try their tiramisu as well if you’re a desert lover. Waiter was very polite and good service as well"
"Al Chianti probably the best place to dine in Venice. Located not too far from Piazza San Marco. We stop because we saw someone ordered mussels, and believe me, it was really good! The steam mussel cooked with white wine and butter. It was really fresh and well seasoned. Came with bread where you can dip the bread to the sauce. Super goody! We also ordered margarita pizza and 4 cheese gnocchi. Pizza was also really good. For the Gnocchi, it was also good although I have tried a better one. The service was great and super friendly. The place is rather small so prepare to sit tightly with other guests. Price was okay considering the size of the dish. Overall it was a great experience and we would really love to come back."
"While walking the many many alleys of Venice on our trip in December we stumbled across this cute restaurant, we ordered pepperoni pizza, pesto tagliatelle, and pomodoro pasta, we added few things outside of the menu to each of our dishes, waiter graciously agreed and the chef made it for us, the pesto pasta was too good, we ordered tiramisu for dessert it was decadent , try this out if you are in this region for Venice"
"Stopped in here after walking around San Marco - it looked pretty chill and no frills- more casual atmos. Ordered the seafood pasta and the lasagna- It was hands down one of the best seafood pastas I've had. Absolutely on point. Staff was nice and accommodating"
"Great and friendly service! OK pricing….. best pizza close to San Marco ! Had lunch here twice ! Try the pizza Sicililana….."
"Visited Al Chianti in December by chance as we were touring and got carried away, it led us here so we were quite happy. This is a lovely little restaurant with a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s small and cosy, which makes it feel quite special. The staff were very attentive and friendly throughout the meal, which made the whole experience even better. They had some great vegetarian options on the menu, and they were happy they were to adjust a dish slightly to make it vegan. Loved the decor, a charming place with great service. Will definitely visit again."
"The food here is amazing! I highly recommend this place. It’s my 4th day here and finally I found a place with really tasty food. It feels like there is a soul in the way of cooking that. Simple dish, but so great taste!"
